Ford Hall![]() | Ford Hall is Red Clay's resident Timber Framer. He has been timber framing since 2004, and practices many different joinery systems. He loves the organic shapes of Natural Homes and is an advocate for Craftsmanship in the Building Arts. He is especially interested traditional timber framing styles and using sustainable forestry practices. Ford also enjoys making his own tools. Meredith Bridges![]() | Meredith approaches the building process with an artist's eye. Raised in Stone Mountain, GA, she now teaches art in Atlanta. Meredith began seriously considering a career in building while working at Highland Woodworking and followed that bliss to natural building. She has always enjoyed creating, a skill she inherited from her mom, an avid woodturner. Meredith extends her creative energy by specializing in custom mosaics and plasterwork. |
Will McSwain![]() | Born in Charlotte, NC, Will now hails from Athens, GA. After a short stint and many objections with the conventional building industry, he knew we could build better, healthier homes. He explored his love of environmentalism and building and discovered his love for Natural Building. Will loves how natural building builds community with people of all walks of life, and is excited to see natural building grow in the South. Will specializes in Earthen Construction, but is also pursuing a career in Timber Framing at the American College of the Building Arts. Will can be reached @ will[at]redclaynb.org |
